Exceptional staff, hotel and location. The renovated 16th-century building was outstanding with its open patio and old elements like a cave and cistern. Our room was big, modern, and very comfortable. The town was situated on a hill with a beautiful castle on top and many cave homes below it. The owners were exceptionally friendly and helpful, taking care of any issues and providing storage for our bikes. The hotel also offered coffee, tea, and water in the room, which was a nice touch. What a wonderful place to spend Christmas!

One downside was the lack of an on-site breakfast option, though it was clearly stated. We had to find a cafe about 10 minutes away, which unfortunately was very unpleasant.

The location was absolutely amazing, right in the heart of the Old Town with easy access to all the fun. The owners were beyond accommodating and made us feel right at home. The room was exquisite, with a spacious bathroom that was sparkling clean. The bed was massive and the linen was of top-notch quality. The bath was a dream, complete with candles and bath salts. The shower had incredible pressure and there was always plenty of hot water. The WiFi was excellent, never giving us any trouble. The communal lounge was a nice touch, with an honesty bar for us to enjoy. We are already in the works of planning our next trip with friends.

We stayed at La Posada for one night on our way to Albacete and we were delighted with our choice. The hosts, Rosanna and Eduardo, were warm and welcoming. The hotel itself is beautifully decorated with touches from local artisans and the rooms are named after important women in the family, which is a lovely touch. We loved the comfortable beds, the ceiling fans, and the access to a fridge in the honesty bar. The location, nestled in a historic area up a slight hill from the Plaza Mayor, made for a charming stay. We only wish we had more time to explore!
